eBay Australia is offering free insertion fees for auction style with a starting price of 99c or less.  This promotion will run from 12 July 2008 through 21 July 2008.  If you are listing through any tool other than the latest verison of the SYI form, the promotion rate will be reflected on your eBay invoice, and during the listing process.  Here are the details:
 
List now and take advantage of free insertion fees for listings starting at 99c. eBay.com.au is offering unlimited free insertion fees for 10 days from Saturday 12 July on auction listings, subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

PLEASE NOTE: eBay updated the requirements for Qualifying Listings in these Terms and Conditions on 10 July 2008. These updated terms and conditions will apply from 10 July 2008 onwards, including for the duration of the Promotional Period.

When?

• Starting 00:00:01 Saturday 12 July 2008 (AEDT) and ending 23:59:59 Monday 21 July 2008 (AEDT) (“Promotional Period”).
Who is eligible for this promotion?

• “Qualifying Sellers” for the purpose of this promotion are sellers who are validly registered members of any eBay site with an Australian registered address that they have provided to eBay. Persons whose eBay accounts have been temporarily or indefinitely suspended or made inactive by the Promoter during the Promotion, are not eligible to enter this Promotion. Employees of, eBay or PayPal (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

What listings are eligible for this promotion?
This promotion applies to:
  • auction listings (subject to the exclusions set out below);
  • made on ebay.com.au;
  • with a start price of $0.99 or less;
  • commencing during the Promotional Period

("Qualifying Listings”).
• Qualifying Sellers will receive free insertion on each Qualifying Listing (“the Incentive”).
• Qualifying Listings created before the Promotional Period and scheduled to begin during the Promotional Period are included.
• Listings in two or more categories are included.
• Multiple-item listings and Dutch auctions are included.
• Car parts and accessories are included.

What is excluded?
• Store Inventory format, fixed price format and Classified Ad listings are excluded.
• Cars, Motorcycles, Boats, Aircraft, Caravans, Trucks, Commercial Vehicles, Trailers, Other Cars, Bikes & Boats, Services & Real Estate category listings are excluded.
• Listings created during the Promotional Period but scheduled to start after the Promotional Period are excluded.
• Listings that contravene eBay's or PayPal's policies are excluded.
• All other eBay fees including listing upgrades, final value fees, format fees, subscription fees, as well as all PayPal fees apply as normal.
• Insertion fees will revert to original price once the Promotional Period has ended.

Miscellaneous
• eBay reserves the right to verify eligibility of sellers and listings to receive the Incentive. eBay's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into, including in the event of a dispute.
• No responsibility is accepted for failure to provide the Incentive.
• eBay is not liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained as a result of or in connection with receiving, taking or using the Incentive, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting the Incentive is the responsibility of the seller.
• eBay is not responsible for any problems, or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's telephone or computer equipment related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in relation to this Promotion.
• If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, eBay reserves the right in its absolute discretion to modify the terms of the Promotion including the Incentive and these Conditions of Entry.
