eBay Canada has announcement a new pay-per-click advertising program to promote your eBay Store or specific listings.  You need to sign up for the eBay AdCommerce service, and you can decide how much you want to spend on each click.

eBay AdCommerce is a pay-per-click advertising solution that allows eBay sellers to advertise their eBay Stores or specific listings through text ads on eBay search and browse result pages.

AdCommerce is a powerful advertising tool for sellers who want to drive more traffic to their Stores or give more visibility to a specific listing. Ads can be bought on either a category or keyword basis. The ads are shown on search results pages in the advertising section below the search results and are displayed to targeted buyers.

How eBay AdCommerce works

Let's say you want your ad to appear when buyers search for "computer." First you need to register with AdCommerce and then decide how much you’re willing to pay each time a buyer clicks on your ad. If you are one of the highest bidders for the keyword “computer”, your ad – including title, short description, and image - will show up on the search results pages generated when targeted buyers search for “computer”.

With AdCommerce, there is no up-front fee, and no minimum payment or deposit. And, you’re always in control: you decide what you’re willing to pay for each click and you set your maximum budget.
