eBay Stores has added some exciting new promotion boxes and features for sellers to better promote their auctions. Here are the details:

As our Store sellers know, the use of Promotion Boxes within your Store is a great way to grab buyer interest. You can use them to highlight featured items or special sales, to encourage buyers to sign up for email newsletters, and much more.

Now, eBay Stores Promotion Boxes are even better. We're introducing some key improvements to help sellers create more engaging experiences for their buyers.

Easy Set-up
We've simplified the set-up process for a Promotion Box, making it faster and easier to create powerful Store merchandising. To create a Promotion Box, go to Manage My Store [http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?StorePromoBoxMgmt&ssPageName=STRK:MESUB:STORE:206] and:

-Select Promotion Box Location
-Select type of listings (example: On Sale items) to be featured
-Select the Promotion Box Display Type.
It's that easy!

We've also added two new Promotion Boxes display types for you to use on your Auction-style or Fixed Price listings:

-Slideshow – The Slideshow Promotion Box cycles through the Gallery pictures of your selected listings, letting you easily feature them all in one spot. It's snazzy!
-Countdown – This animated Countdown Promotion Box does exactly that – it helps you generate buyer excitement by counting down the time left in the listing.
