eBay Countdown is a new browser-based tool that lets you track and bid on auction listings.  eBay has had a limited number of users testing eBay Countdown, and because of the positive feedback, have decided to release eBay Countdown to all users.  Please note eBay Countdown is still in the BETA testing phase, so you might hit some bugs using it.  Here are some of the features:
 
  • Real time updates. See the time remaining and current bid (no need to hit 'Refresh'!)
  • Visual and voice alerts. Get helpful reminders before the items that you're bidding on, or watching, end.
  • Fast and easy bidding. Bid with just one click.
  • Quick access to last minute deals. Find those great steals - items ending soon with no bids.

    No download is required to use eBay Countdown. eBay Countdown is a flash application that lives inside a web page. All you need to have is a web browser with Adobe Flash Player 8 or higher. You can utilize eBay Countdown on all recent versions of Internet Explorer, FireFox/Mozilla, Safari, Netscape and AOL Explorer. Most computers have Flash Player 8 installed. Adobe reports that over 96% of computers have Flash Player 8 or higher. If your PC does not have Flash Player 8 or higher, you can download it here.
