The spoof emailers are continually getting creative with
ways to trick you. This new spoof has very well-concealed fake email
addresses that look almost identical to the eBay sign-in URL.
The email claims that a fraud claim has been made against
you (see below).
Also, never click on any link in an email from PayPal or
eBay. You may be transmitting your private information by clicking on
any links in a phished/spoof email. Any valid
message from eBay or PayPal will be in your "My eBay Messages" or attached
to a link that PayPal will place in your PayPal account.
Login to your account, and read the message there.
Forward all messages to spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com so they can
investigate.
