eBay originally announced in July that they would be making changes to the address for many of their emails including the End of Auction and Bid Confirmation emails.  The changes have been made (details in original announcement below).  

Some of the “From” and “Subject” fields in some of these emails have changed slightly. If you have rules set up within your own email client to filter emails based on either the From or Subject fields, please visit the Auction Listings board that includes details about which emails will be affected to help you update your rules.

In early August, we will be updating several of our site emails, such as End of Auction notices and Bid Confirmations. These emails will soon have a more consistent design intended to make it easier for you to quickly find the most important information.

In addition, these emails will now include a standard user greeting consisting of your first and last name and User ID. This should better help you determine whether an email is actually from eBay. Learn more about the user greeting.
