Terapeak: eBay Marketplace Research has released a new "Seller ID Filter" that can help you keep up with the competition and boost your business.  Just in from Terapeak

As many of you already know, we have recently released a new feature at Terapeak called Seller Specific Research. Although I introduced it in the last newsletter I wanted to go into more detail about its amazing capabilities.

The seller research tool is found within the filters and it is titled “Seller ID Filter.” To research all sales made by a specific seller you go into the “Browse Categories” section and make sure the search engine is set to “All Categories,” then type in the name of the seller you wish to research. You will then be given the last 90 days of sales data (30 days at a time) for that seller.

 You can also search items and then filter the search with only the specific seller you want to know about. When you do this you can see the success of any specific item that a seller offers. You can also access seller research in the “advanced search” section. Here you simply type in the seller’s ID and you get their data.

After you perform your search you are given;

  • A report which outlines;
    The total sales, average sold price, total bids, sell-through rate, average start price, listing promotions used and their success rates, listing types used and their success rates, listing durations used and their success rates, and days of the week listed and each days success rate.
  • All the listings made by the seller in the last 90 days.
  • Trend analysis; graphs showing sales activity over the last 90 days.
Having this tool helps you research your competition to know what, where, when and how they are selling. You can also use this tool to research your own sales, and figure out what works for your selling and what doesn’t.

You can also have reports on you and your competition emailed to you weekly. This enables you to keep track of your sales and your competitions.
